We know this and that’s exactly why we formed Chuck Town Living. We sought to create a property management company that’s different from the rest. One that’s responsive, friendly and adaptable while at the same time innovative and efficient. It’s our goal to make the process, for both owners and renters, as turnkey as possible.
Peter Ulber, Chuck Town Living’s founder, formed the company after years of dealing with property management companies that just weren’t up to par. As an investment property owner, he saw firsthand the shortcomings. Nothing was pro-active. He never felt as though his properties were being treated with the level of care and attention that an investment should receive. Peter believed that if he was experiencing these issues, chances are he was not alone. Rather than settling with the status quo, Peter decided to make something better. And Chuck Town Living was born.

Peter Ulber, Owner
Peter Ulber is the founder and managing partner of the Charleston Enterprise Group, in Charleston, South Carolina, which specializes in consulting, management and investment strategies in international logistics with a primary focus on mergers and acquisitions.
Until the end of 2011, Peter Ulber was a member of the international management board of Kuehne & Nagel – a market leader in the global logistics industry – headquartered near Zurich, Switzerland. Being responsible for the global airfreight and seafreight operations of this 20 billion U.S. dollar company with 60,000 employees in 100 countries, he contributed significantly to the global expansion by executing a number of strategic acquisitions in Europe, Asia and the Americas. During his 25 year tenure, Peter traveled around the globe and lived for many years in Germany, the United States, South America, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, where he held a number of management positions. Peter was Educated in the U.S. and Germany before graduating from the International School of Logistics in Hamburg, Germany.
Chris Arnold, Partner
Prior to partnering with Peter on Chuck Town Living, Chris spent 14 years in medical business development. His experience ranged from work with large Fortune 500 companies to smaller, more specialized operations. Chris’ background in sales and marketing makes him the perfect person to ensure our owner’s properties get in front of the right tenants. In addition to being a partner, Chris is also Peter’s son-in-law and is eager to establish Chuck Town Living as a family business.
Matt Taylor, Property Manager & Maintenance Supervisor
Matt is Chuck Town Living’s Property Manager and Maintenance Department Supervisor. Matt’s 20 years of experience in the construction industry has given him the knowledge and skill set to handle just about any situation that is thrown at him (and trust us, there have been a few). Matt personally performs each detailed inspection of our properties for maintenance issues that may arise or are already present before a tenant is placed, saving the homeowner time and money. Lesley Cioch, Office Manager
After graduating college in upstate New York Lesley decided to follow her dream and move to New York City where she took a office manager position at the hedge fund Coatue. After three years in the city she was ready to settle down close to her family and moved to beautiful Charleston, South Carolina. Shortly after moving she starting working for Peter, quickly becoming his full time assistant and handling all the back office operations. Still a yankee at heart but Lesley absolutely loves living in Charleston.
